Out St Kilda Way
Uncover a layer of history seldom heard and not often told. "Out St Kilda Way" is an on-line oral history project featuring stories told by St Kilda's senior gay community. They bring to life the glamorous heydays and realism of iconic venues that existed alongside moving personal memories, stories of prejudice and the issues of police brutality.
This project was created in partnership with St Kilda Youth Service, the St Kilda Inclusion Project and the Inner South Community Health Service. A special thanks to those who contributed their stories including Dion, Dotti, Andrew, Ossie, Ken, Chris, Gary, Peter, Jim, Kirk, Ross, Craig.
